The House!

Well - life has certainly got busy aroung here!!! The house is in full swing (more about that soon), work is busy and the Boys are right into the school routine now (homework and all!).

The house is moving ahead in leaps and bounds. On Sat Jas and Will concreted the wet areas and then (with Murrays help) got stuck into the wall frames. You can really see how the house will look now - and I LOVE it!! Jas has been getting a bit stressed over things like "the kitchen isn't big enough" but I am convinced it is all ok.

So this is the concrete from the weekend (the bathroom, toilet and laundry)

This is looking from the front veranda. Wher it dips in is the front door, with the formal lounge to the left and my scrapbooking room behind it. The large area in the middle is the open plan living/dining/kitchen (you can see my walk in pantry on the RHD of that large room - next to the space for the fridge). Right at the back of the house is the rumpas. On the RHS starting from the back is the spare bedroom, bathroom, toilet, laundry, Josh's room. Opposite Josh's room is Cam's room and then you can just see our room!

This shows our room (next the garage wall) with the WIR and ensuite behind (and the big hole in the fence so the cement truck could get in LOL!).

The Boys are just loving school - although I am horrified at the homework side of things! It takes so long to go through it with them - let alone the reading. There go my relaxing arvos scrapping!

Hmmm better get back to the Boys...

First Award

SO proud of Cameron!!!

He got an award at school today (not that I was aware that assembly had begun). Very pleased with himself :)

Great finish to week two! (after he lost his drink bottle and hat - but got them back and then lost his wallet - brand new - which has of course dissapeared......)

Now lets hope Josh gets one soon as he is a bit jealous.

EDM!

Wow! I just found out I recieved third place in this months EDM comp at EMM! Kath got second (well deserved her LO's are amazing!).

Ok this is the first time I have been tagged! I was tagged by Dannii

6 weird things about me..

1. I practice conversations in my head (and somethimes out loud) before I say them.

2. I count things (steps, pegs on the line etc).

3. I have to have something sweet straight after lunch/dinner etc. Esp if the meal was a bit fatty.

4. I often forget what I am doing/saying half way through - short attention span!

5. I CANNOT just sit and watch TV. I have to be doing something. I used to knit or crossstich, now I sit at the computer and surf the net or scrap :)

6. I canot go to bed without having a shower and brushing my teeth. I just can't stand having dirty feet or teeth in bed!

Hot hot hot!

Yuck! It is so stinking hot here this weekend. I am over it!

I am also over naughty, feral children! Anyone want mine??? They have driven Jason out of the house and me to distraction. Just horrible carrying on and tantrums from hell! Jason has banned them from the pool for a week (so I guess I won't be swimming either grrrr - in this heat that is a pain in the *^%$). They just won't learn. They are SO stubbon.

Anyway they might think about it over the next week, maybe.

In the meantime I have been scrapping (surprise surprise!).

Both are for on line challenges. The first for Memories and More. You had to randomly grab 6 PP scraps and trim them and three photos to he same size square and use them on your LO. I really love how it turned out! I had fun with my sewing machine too :)

The second is a sketch challenge from EMM.

Oh well. I am going to go and jump in a 30sec cold shower - it is just too hot!
