We had a lovely time in Melbourne with my family. Deb, Jeff and Jake joined us for the drive down. They drove here on the Friday and we drove down together - in the worst pouring rain I have ever been in!!! We had a lovely Easter and the Easter Bunny found us:
The kids had a ball playing out the front of Mum and Dads:
We took them on Puffing Billy which was great fun! The engine was green so Jake was sure it was Percy!! Very cute :)
So we drove home on the Tuesday after Easter - and then to Gil on the Wednesday. The Boys had a ball driving Pop crazy!! They followed him everywhere talking a million miles an hour. They were very disappointed that this wasn't their 13 (now 15) sleeps there!!
We went for a drive into the Warrumbungles for the day it was just lovely!! We stopped at the Devils hole for a look and then drove on to Coonabarabran for lunch in the park. From there we drove up through the National park and to Siding Springs to look at the Telescope.
A nice drive around and them home finished a really great day! The Boys went back to the hills on a farm nearby the next day and went after some goats. Cam and Josh were in heaven!!
We headed home Monday and have spent this week hanging around the house. We were going to go camping this weekend but the rain and cold put a stop to that!!
Mind you this cold change has meant I have had a lovely time scrapping!!
